I am so very excited about The Bride’s Night Out this Thursday, August 11th at 7pm. Mangroves in South Tampa is hosting the event and is brought to you by one of
Tampa’s top wedding design team Flawless Occasions.
KyleLynn will be there doing hair and makeup for the fabulous models in the White Closet Bridal Company’s fashion show. We will also be setting up shop to take your “day time” look to a true girl’s “night out” style!
The Brides’ Night Out is a “bridal show” meets “cocktail party” event for brides-to-be and their friends.
- Enjoy complimentary food from Mangroves Catering. Yum!

We had the honor and privilege of doing Lindsay’s hair and makeup for her wedding in downtown Tampa. The Westin Harbour Island hosted their event .. Check out the view!! The wedding photographer that caught their every moment was none other than Jason Angelini. The beautiful floral arrangements were designed by Redman Steele, and A Piece of Cake for their yummy desert!!
Check out the Florida Gator wedding favors! You can’t go wrong with “See you Later Alligator” cookies! The couple paid tribute to USF where the two met.

Check out this gorgeous bridal party! I had a blast hanging out with Danielle and her friends. This couple chose the Don Cesar in St Pete Beach Florida to host their wedding day event. Thank you to Dawn Haas for capturing the most beautiful pictures!! Danielle let the girls pick out their own hair and makeup style for her wedding day, which is a growing trend with my brides.
TIP : As long as the bridesmaid’s hair styles compliment the bride’s look, then the overall feel will flow. You can’t have one maid with a super, sleek chignon and then another with a high princess updo, while the bride wants big, loose romantic curls for her beach wedding. Try a messy chignon with some curls incorporated in (instead of sleek), and then maybe an updo with soft, textured curls leading back to a gethered style (instead of tight barrel curls on top of your head).
If you are a bride considering letting your bridesmaids choose their own hairstyle for your wedding, then give them some guidelines! For example . . . soft loose curls, or half up half down, or sleek swept part, or all down, or one side pulled up (whether it be up or down). I’ve even had brides pull several of pictures and had their bridesmaid pick from the collection.
